W/Rt Core Farmer Help
I am currently trying to farm destroyer cores at Glint's but I am having a bit of trouble. Even though I run the same builds, armor, runes, insignias and time the skills right like other ppl I always end up dying. Can anyone here come on a run with me to see what I am doing wrong?

It might take a bit to get the hang of the build. What I found was the best strategy was standing on the little hill where the Dragon sits (that juts out), but in front of the Dragon so you get agro. Just strafe in small circles avoiding shiny balls, use Sentinel's armor (I think), I didn't use optimal choices for sword/shields but whatever.
I used:
Aura of Superiority, VwK, Soothing Memories (just as a clutch heal), Endure Pain, Signet of Stamina, Alkar's Acid thingy, Bonetti's Defense (to bridge the gap between VwK's) and IWAY to get some regen from the dead dwarves. Help counter spikes with Endure Pain. Happy hunting!

A person can't help you that much, you need to develop the rhythm to it. Take along weapon of warding for awhile instead of acid to heal the dragon and yourself if you want it a bit easier for noob/safer

Go here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10217319 Read the thread, or at leat the first post. It's to your benefit to at least skim that thread to see if anyone else has similar difficulties as you. The first post also has links to several videos you may download. That way, you can see what other people have done right, rather than asking us to watch you, and tell you what you are doing wrong.

OK, I'll bite. I'm curious; why do you want to solo?
1. Loot scaling. There's very little difference, if any, for drops for a party of 1 vs. 2.
2. The build I linked to has the hero only casting spirits, and the hero is out of drop range, so you will get everything anyway. It's a good thread; you should read it.
3. I can see the video fine. It is blurry, yes, but the giant text explains everything. So does the first post.
4. <---IGN is to the left. PM me to get on my ignore list.
edit: All right, that last one was a bit mean, but the point I am trying to make is that you really have to try it yourself to learn. There is already a guide available, and I've shown it to you, what more do you expect from anyone here?

About 2, spirit range is shorter than radar, and loot is given to people within radar range. You can flag hero outside radar, so he won't get drops, but then spirits don't work on you.

That's interesting, but my point still stands, at least on a technicality. You can still flag the hero out of range; the only thing you need from the hero is QZ. Spirits don't take drops. There would be more micro-managing of flags and hero bars involved, but it's honestly not worth the effort because of point 1: Loot scaling.

i was always under the impression that a character had to be "greyed" out on the party menu to not get drops assigned to it...not just out of the aggro circle...i know you *edit* Don Not get EXP if you aren't in the aggro circle but i think they still get drops...and a portion of the gold coins.

Yeah, player is usually superior to hero. They get visible drops and you can do 50/50 split of drops. For example, dualing 600/smite in UW means for example 1 ecto for you and unknown for hero. But 600/smite with real player it's 1 ecto for you and 3 for bonder, so that's 2 for each. Bonder will loose, but he ain't doing a crap during the run, 600 gets one ecto more. It's more fair this way.
